The Crew Corps is a volunteer group of Modern Sailing members who are available to help with crewing on Private Lessons and Checkouts when the student isn't able to bring crew of their own. Volunteers support the development of their fellow members and students while enjoying cost-free time on the water

Three members of Modern Sailing, Arne Gelb, Alisa Driscoll and Elizabeth Henderson, were among those who recently participated in the no-prerequisite Advanced First Aid and CPR for Mariners course that was announced in the June 8 club newsletter.
At Modern Sailing, we recognize that a broad range of interest areas exist within the world of sailing, and our two locations in Sausalito and Berkeley strive to provide the widest variety of boats and sailing opportunities available to beginning and experienced sailors in the Bay Area.
We're delighted to share the news that an important step in the Inspire Sailing and Modern Sailing merger process has been accomplished! All Berkeley-based student and member accounts have been imported into Mindbody, Modern Sailing's reservation and customer account management system.
Three Bridge Fiasco race teams encountered mixed conditions on Saturday, ending the day thankfully with more wind than they usually see this time of year.

If you're a Dual Site member or know someone who is, you may have heard that on Friday, January 6, we announced to Inspire Sailing clients that Inspire Sailing and Modern Sailing will be merging.
