Sausalito Boat Show at Clipper Yacht Harbor September 25 - 27, 2026
The 4th Annual Sausalito Boat Show brought the iconic Sausalito second summer weather, lively waterfront festivities, and memorable sailing conditions to Clipper Yacht Harbor. Modern Sailing School & Club was proud to join the celebration at Booth #105 alongside Latitude 38, the Berkeley Marina, CYC, SYC, and Sailing for a Cause, connecting with hundreds of members, prospective students, and boating enthusiasts.
This year was especially exciting having our Clipper Yacht Harbor location adjacent to the main tent area. Our team hosted daily office tours and afternoon happy hours from Friday through Sunday. Saturday evening capped off the celebration with the Latitudes and Attitudes Party, where attendees gathered under a stunning autumn harvest moon overlooking the harbor.
On-the-Water Highlights: Learn to Sail Sessions
One of the weekend’s standout events was our four sold-out Learn to Sail intro sessions. Led by School Director Captain Robert Bivin, participants enjoyed hands-on instruction and active helm time on the San Francisco Bay. We met many enthusiastic participants, some sailing for their very first time.
We collaborated closely with SailTime SF, sharing the dock and running synchronized sessions from our home harbor:
- Saturday sessions: Sailors boarded Golden Horn, our Sausalito Clipper gold fleet Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 349, enjoying sunshine and smooth seas.
- Sunday sessions: Conditions turned lively as the Bay breeze kicked up right on cue, giving our final group an invigorating 2.5-hour tour around Alcatraz Island in ideal autumn winds aboard Ladera Rose, our Sausalito Clipper platinum fleet Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 440.
Waterfront Festivities & Maritime Spectacle
The show was packed with unforgettable moments across the harbor for attendees of all ages:
Family fun & entertainment: Guests enjoyed live music throughout the weekend, delicious local food and drink vendors, and a bustling Kids' Zone complete with a popular dunking booth.
ARM Cuauhtémoc BE-01: The crew from the Mexican Navy tall ship visited the show, bringing high energy and excitement as they paraded through the exhibitor tents.
Water taxi service to CYC: Our friends at Corinthian Yacht Club ferried attendees back and forth between the boat show docks and CYC in Tiburon throughout the weekend.
Educational seminars: The Educational Experiences Tent (sponsored by Svendsen's Bay Marine) hosted insightful panels on Electric Recreational and Commercial Boating, ocean conservation, diesel engine maintenance, and the Women in Yachting Breakfast.
Featured Boat: Bora Bora (Beneteau Oceanis 34.1)
Dressed in vibrant Beneteau flags at the NAOS Yachts display dock, the Beneteau Oceanis 34.1 Bora Bora was a major attraction for visitors exploring yacht ownership options.
