How did the Black Wednesday Special get its name? A fun bit of trivia!
Years ago, we ran this Special only on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Our phones and email inbox were swamped all day with sailors eager to sign up! After the Special ended, we also received several requests from sailors hoping we'd extend the offer. So, out of thankfulness for our enthusiastic community, we decided to be generous and run the annual Special the entire month of November.
