Modern Sailing is doubling down on its commitment to the Sausalito waterfront. While we remain fully operational at our flagship home in Marina Plaza Harbor, we are adding this second location at Clipper Yacht Harbor to increase fleet capacity and provide a world-class environment for our members.
We are currently in the preparation phase as we finalize our new office space, clubhouse, and slips. Opening Day on the Bay brought our members and community together for a chance to see the state-of-the-art maritime facilities at Clipper before we officially open our second Sausalito clubhouse doors next month.

Our Club Sail boats, Survivor (Beneteau Oceanis 38' - Sausalito) and Moon Dance (Bavaria 42' - Berkeley), were full with happy crew and great spirits as they participated in the Blessing of the Fleet at Corinthian Yacht Club in Raccoon Strait, off the coast of Belvedere. The ‘God Squad’ aboard the Aurora V, the Corinthian Yacht Club’s vessel had a priest, minister, and rabbi - blessing the boats for the launch of the 2026 sailing season. This tradition dates back to 1963 and we are proud to be participating in this annual event.

On land, our members and guests toured the soon-to-be new Modern Sailing School & Club office at Clipper Yacht Harbor. We anticipate opening our doors this summer for charters, courses and clinics, expanding our Sausalito footprint.
