Sausalito Yacht Club - Tuesday evenings starting July 26th

Modern Sailing will be entering Recreation and Performance Race Teams in the Summer Racing Series at the Corinthian Yacht Club and Sausalito Yacht Club.

Our race teams are a great opportunity to hone your sailing skills in a fun and lightly competitive environment. Under the guidance of our sailing coaches you will get the opportunity to practice all the different roles on a racing sailing boat … helm, trimmers, and foredeck. Recreation level teams enter the PHRF Spinnaker class, using asymmetrical spinnakers.

Want to sail as much as possible, but you'll miss some of the races? With flexible drop-in, participants of one team can do drop-in races with other teams when space is available.

I've taken two classes at MSS&C and was very happy with the program. This is also a great club with lots of opportunities for camaraderie and practice on the water. The boats in the fleet are fantastic and kept in tip-top shape. I highly recommend for all sailors and would-be sailors!

He is an outstanding individual, leader and sailing instructor. His knowledge and experience made us all feel safe and our Farallones Day Trip educational and just amazing.

The meeting room was quite adequate and the location most convenient, but the course outline and instruction were outstanding. Modern Sailing is fortunate to have such a well organized instructor in Mr. Stan Lander who teaches very well from a rich professional background. Mr. Lander was generous with his time and patiently in helping students who needed more attention or time in understanding various aspects of the curriculum.

I took ASA 101 with them recently. They have the best customer service I've ever seen! I mistyped my address when I signed up online so didn't receive the textbook. I called and the lady immediately sent me another copy! Everyone at the club is super friendly.
