Whether your goal is to advance skills learned in ASA 104, build confidence as a bareboat skipper, or prepare for the ASA 105/106 course, this one-day clinic will bring you into the 21st century and prepare you for proficiency on common electronic navigation systems. While ASA courses prepare you for basic navigation, becoming proficient in the electronic navigation tools found on your boat allows you to plan your trip and chart your course with ease.
Taught aboard one of our Gold or Platinum Fleet vessels, you will be guided through some of the most common electronic piloting systems found aboard 30' to 50' sailing vessels, with the opportunity to practice these skills in real-time on the Bay.
Receive hands-on training with GPS mapping plotters, radar, automatic vessel identification, piloting assist, collision avoidance decision-making aids, depth sounders, and distress signaling devices. You can complete this one-day clinic ready to plot a new course and pilot in a variety of visibility conditions.
There are three ways to sign up for this course - by phone (415) 331-8250, email, or by clicking the link below.
