Optional Dual Membership - The Golden Gate Yacht Club and Modern Sailing have teamed up through an historic partnership to bring more sailing and social events to our members. With an agreement of goals, our independent clubs are working together to further the sport of sailing and promote camaraderie. With this unique relationship, we are able to offer our members a fabulous joint membership opportunity! Pay one monthly fee to belong to both clubs. Call us for details.

Cost and Benefits - As one of the most affordable clubs on the bay, Modern Sailing Club offers our members access to sailing without the ongoing costs of ownership. Members receive discounted rates on bareboat charters and courses.

Membership Costs

One-Time Membership Fee for Modern Sailing ASA Students is $375
For Non-ASA Students, One-Time Membership Fee is $575

Monthly dues are $35/person, $45/couple
